Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
PB - pretty much agree with all of that. Sully got lucky with pathetic investment but an experienced manager. One up front isn't a thing for me but none of us can doubt that Moyes has over-achieved massively, despite of our Board. With an undoubted lack of investment this summer, I think we should enjoy the position while it's here. I don't think it's sustainable. We are playing on the back of what is clearly tremendous team spirit and a pretty good lack of injury run generally. All the backroom staff and manager deserve praise for over-achieving. My view. Have to say I am not a Moyes fan generally based on his style of football but cannot knock the man at present. Fitness and team spirit second to none.

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
They would have succeeded, but where we are was never their aim and everything before this season shows that.

I'm enjoying our run, Moyes and the boys have been magnificent, but I'm already thinking of next season and us being back to being uninspiring and following what we've always done after a good season and drop like a stone.

Let's have it right, Sullivan will take all the credit in the world IF we finish in the top four and use all his media pals to get at the support. Long term though, I can't see a future with them where we go anywhere.

I think Hammers United are a nessecity long term, even if the fickle and shortsighted are blinded by our current position.

Never wanted to move form Upton Park myself but if Real Madrid roll up next season on a Wednesday night all which is a possibility as of today surely they the owners have succeeded in their remit a little later in time yes but still reached it and delivered it in full.

Looking on the bright side now you are on your way out
You must be the only person who spent his last year in the slammer and not miss a single live game or a trip to the pub

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
Is this still going on ,out the board ... ! it beggars belief... there was uproar when they met us. Are they really going to sit down with someone who is on a life ban. .. ? Did they see out their commitments ? No... will they sell up because of the fans ? No... should we get behind the team when it’s possible again ? Yes .. bubbles ask for the corner flag as a memento,, Nothing is going to change ..

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
So they've surveyed thousands of fans (more like thirty-odd) and have come up with the sole thing HU is based on - "Waaaah we dont like the owners, waaaah" followed by "HU demands a larger selection of sausage rolls available on match days!".

Big fucking woop. What a well-meaning but ultimately useless bunch HU are.

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
The thing is about very good seasons is they have to be built on, this is where many fans will still have the hump, and can’t see any progress being made. Rob Green summed it up nicely last night and their very own record is what the fans will have to go by as it stands.

This is a win/win as they may finally put the football investment first or do what they’ve done historically which is not quite enough, especially for a club they’ve expanded he ambitions of.

Hi mate. What is encouraging mate is that against a background of our best form for many years thousands still want GSB out and this shows there is fundamently something wrong at the club..We cannot go to the ground to recruit, there are some who can see no further than their nose and only care about results on the pitch-yet each day a few more join.COYI.GSB OUT.

The 'whadda'ya gonna do' was supposed to be delivered in a Tony Soprano type voice.

I don't doubt your sincerity, admire your efforts and broadly support your goals.

I just think you're pissing up the wall right now..

Best of luck, anyway.

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
We will be meeting the club one to one in a couple of weeks and we will chuck the survey results at them.Either they engage in meaningful dialogue and hopefully we get inprovements.-Or they fuck us about and we walk away and tell the whole world that attempts to talk to them are a waste of time and more join the GSB out movement.

Re: Hammers United Survey Results are out
It's still self-selecting mate. People who don't give a shit or people who are happy with things are unlikely to bother with a survey that they suspect will be full of complaints.

It's all about the stadium and the results. Most fans don't give a shit about any of the rest. Now the results are good and Upton Park is flats.

Whadd'ya gonna do?
